Lora Pinkard grew up in Utah and attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo. She earned a bachelor’s degree in math education with a minor in German. Her teaching career started in Davis County, Utah. After a while, she moved to Alaska, where she did some teaching, some stay-at-home mom work, and some managing of a medical office.
When she returned to Utah, Mrs. Pinkard renewed her teaching credentials. She has taught at public schools, charter schools, and a residential treatment center. Now she looks forward to working with the students at Salt Lake Academy.
Mrs. Pinkard enjoys reading, doing math puzzles, and sewing. She also likes to watch movies with her husband. If they could travel somewhere, then it would be to visit and spend time with any of their grandchildren.
